The perfect place for a summer powwow!
We have sun (fingers crossed), sea and sand (well, some), lots of bars/restaurants, great shopping and an excellent nightlife. Brighton is only an hour from London Victoria and less than 30 minutes from Gatwick. So how about getting together for a picnic on the beach, lunch in the Lanes, drinks on the pier, or whatever takes our fancy?

I can't believe nearly 30 people have signed up for the Brighton powwow already! This is shaping up to be a great event!
Perhaps it's time for us to decide on a date and time for our get-together. My preference is Saturday, 28 August in the afternoon but we could also meet in the evening or on Sunday. It really depends on what the majority wants to do. Please post your views and let me know which date is best/worst for you.

I have no problem with Saturday afternoon or evening (prefer afternoon). Prefer it from Sunday.

but what do we do if the weather is no good (like today - howling wind and driving rain)? It might be safer to book a table/room in a restaurant/bar/cafe. If anyone has any suggestions, do tellicon_wink.gif
