I have been a teacher of the English language and literature in a high school since 1992. I studied English Language and Literature and the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, and obtained a Master's degree diploma.  

I am also a freelance translator and a proofreader. My native language is Serbian, but I also speak Serbo-Croat, Croatian and Bosnian.

So far, I have translated and proofread dozens of thousands pages in English, Serbian and Croatian in both directions. I have been working in various fields - social sciences, law, finances, medicine, agriculture, geography, tourism, hospitality, literature, art, film, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology etc.

I consider myself a responsible and reliable person who respects the deadlines and is equally efficient when working under pressure. When dealing with clients, confidentiality is one of my primary concerns.

Considering myself a responsible person, I have a habit of previewing the text I am to translate before I accept the job. I have been doing in various fields, but if I do not feel confident enough to perform the job professionally, I do not accept it. 

Besides translation (EN-SR, SR-EN, CR-EN) and proofreading (English and Serbian), I also do the jobs of subtitling.

In my work I use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Subtitle Workshop, as well as SDL Trados.
