25/25. Heh, too easy. But this isn't really an "advanced" grammar test, is it?

Don't know 'bout that. Maybe they call it "advanced" because many people make careless grammar mistakes.

Congratulations, you are a grammar master! You have a superb understanding of even the trickiest grammar rules. Not only do you know the difference between affect and effect, but you also never confuse your tenses. You must be an English scholar because only 4% of Americans can get a perfect score on this test.

And I'm a francophone!!!

Unfair to native speakers of English :) Mar 8, 2017

Many of these questions are easier for a foreigner to answer than for someone who learned spoken and colloquial language before formal grammar and register.

One would learn correct and formal grammar at school even if one learnt spoken and colloquial language first.

From you profile, your native language is German, but if this game was in your native language, would you still say that it's unfair to native German speakers?
