Can't access Google

Google is defined as my "Home Page" that pops up when I click Internet Explorer. For the last 3 hours I have not been able to search anything on Google- as soon as I type in a term and click search, another search engine (Yogeee) appears. I've tried to delete temporary Internet files , ( get the message: unsucessful), have restarted the system, all to no avail.
Any tips what I can do?

Try running SpyBot and/or Ad-Aware and/or HijackThis and see if that fixes it. Also check under Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs whether there are any programs installed that shouldn't be there and uninstall them if necessary. (If none of this does it, you may have to edit the registry.)

... provided you keep the last log of "good files" - otherwise you have to be a proff to recognize what's wrong.

I called a friend who installed Spybot- which removed a couple of hundred or so unwanted programs, including my nifty little hot bar with the cute icons ;((
