I recently tossed a big pile of paper documents from the 1960s, but I've kept the bound books. I have posted some scanned samples from the early days on my website. The floppy disks are long gone. I got my own first PC in 1990 and I have kept all the electronic files since then except when asked to destroy them. Sometimes they come in handy as references.

Except for clients that require a statement confirming that I have erased them from my memory. In this case, I do erase all files and provide the statement. However, all translations will be in my TMs forever anyway.
