Translating .mpp files

Hi all,

I have been requested to translate a .mpp file. I was also given a free app to open the file, called MOOS Project Viewer. Has anyone ever had to translate this type of file? I understand that I can open it with Microsoft Project and save it as an Excel file (which would be awesome) but I don't have that.

Any help will be much appreciated.
