Trados Toolbar Does Not Appear in Word

I am new to TRADOS. I just downloaded TRADOS 6.5 onto my computer and the TRADOS toolbar doesn't appear in Word, even though I can use the Workbench function. Can anybody help me find out how to access and show this toolbar? Thank you!

Hi,
Have you tried clicking in the right button of the mouse in the toolbar? If TW4Win appear, activate it. Or, in Tools/Add-ins, click on trados.dot template. If trados.doy is not on the list, add it (it should be in the word's start up folder).

Hello Karen,
I'm not certain if this will be of any help, at least you can try
In Word, go to Tools, Templates and Complements (something like that, I've got my Word in Spanish) and in Templates uncheck the PDFMaker box, if any, and check the one of Trados.
Good luck and enjoy Trados...it's a very helpful tool, at least to me.

You might want to check the following topic in Trados Workbench Help:

"Manually Preparing Word 97, Word 2000 and Word XP"

(Helped me with the same problem in Trados 5.5. Just search the Help Topics for "toolbar" and you should get there.)

Thank you so much! I did go to Tools, Templates and Add-ins, and the TRADOS 6.5 was checked. What I needed to do was to click on "Add", and that did the trick! I look forward to much good use from my new software.
