Hallo,

I have received a big termbase from a client (Multiterm 6.5), format *.mdb.

I have not Trados and would convert only the table that I need (GER-FR). The Franch caracters are readable, but the German are only cryptic "àqÓ‘Ȏƒ„¨¡¨¡" for "SRAM".

MT 6.5 does not exist - the current MTiX version is 6.2.

Doesn't surprise me - the .mdb files used by MTiX are not designed to be used directly with MS Access. Tell your client that you don't use MT, and ask them to export the terms into a tab-delimited file (which you can open in Excel, for example).

you need to convert this file to UTF-8
