This is probably impossible, but still I want to share my issue.
I like to spellcheck every segment after translation, but after adding a term into dictionary I always have to deal with this mesasge:
"Transit can scan the updated project dictionary for the spellcheck ()"
My answer is always NO.
This is annoying, because this message appears not really instantly, I have to wait almost 1 second for it. This 1 second disturbs me a little bit.

Why... Feb 15, 2013

... don't you just uncheck the dictionary-based spellcheck if you don't want to use it?

Transit XV! Feb 15, 2013

There is no such option in Transit XV, only "Ignory case" and "Reference-based spell check only".

With all due respect, I don't like Transit NXT - all those graphic effects and the useless bottom bar makes it unhandy.

But thanks!

install MySpell dictionaries Feb 15, 2013

Hello Egy,

I agree with you,

the graphics of NXT are horrid

For XV

just do as in the Installation-documentation, section 8.2 Installing MySpell dictionaries

Just Copy the aff and dic files to the folder "Spell" in your Transit installation folder

If you have it not by default installation, create this folder:
C:\Program Files\Transit XV\Spell

Cancel in "Profile settings" the unwanted options

when you click on the button "spelling" the Transit finds itself your dictionaries and work with them

good luck

Modify the project definition Feb 16, 2013

One possible solution is to detach the assigned dictionaries from the project definition, either via the menu or by editing the .prj file (e.g. macro-wise).
