why can't I install transit?

I hope there is someone who could help out there, I am desperate..

I am trying to install Transit software on my PC running Windows 7 x64. I run inst_transitnxt.exe as administrator but I cannot go further than the InstallAware Wizard screen. Suddenly a message box pops out and says:
"Runtime error in setup script:

Source File: inst_transitnxt
Line Number: 1103

Access violation at... See more

I download the file many times but it didn't work. However, when I tried to install the software on a different PC with the same installer file, it worked! Please help..! ▲ Collapse

Please check following:

- Start from the *unzipped* folder and not from zip itself!
- Check whether the antivirus is running
- Start as Administrator

In what language is your Windows?

Just a wild guess but have you tried installing it as Administrator? That is, right-click on the .exe file and select 'Run as administrator' instead of 'Open'.
