Description:The presentation will introduce Language Terminal, an online platform of value-added services and business automation for translators and translation-related professionals. The session emphasizes profile management and project management through Language Terminal, including the creation of project records, quoting jobs, delivering translations. However, it will also touch on other value-added features of Language Terminal such as the import of InDesign documents into memoQ bilingiual files (with preview), backing up memoQ projects in the clound, and the sharing of light resources.

Speakers:Balázs Kis
Balázs Kis has a degree in IT engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and a PhD in applied linguistics from the University of Pécs. Prior to founding Kilgray, he was a Microsoft systems engineer and trainer (MCSE, MCT) and the most prominent Hungarian IT author with over 20 titles published. He was also the head of research and development at MorphoLogic, and taught translation technology at the ELTE University of Budapest. He’s got massive experience in collaborative translation and project management - besides writing his own titles, he coordinated the translation of over fifty Microsoft Press books at the publishing house SZAK.
Istvan Lengyel
István is the CEO of Kilgray, and thinks that there is nothing more important than channeling the customers’ business challenges to development and coming up with innovative yet easy-to-use solutions. He loves to work with customers who can articulate what they are looking for and believes that the best way of learning is through interaction.

István has a degree in economics, a postgraduate degree in translation and interpreting, and a PhD in translation studies. István also translated several books on business and IT into Hungarian and also designed a translation workflow system prior to joining Kilgray. He is a great fan of problem-solving expert selling.
