Dual monitors (sceptic converted!!!!!) Jan 26, 2010

I was very sceptical about using dual monitors before trying it out, seeing it initially as unnecessary and more of a system adopted by show-offs rather than something which would have facilitated my work.
Two years on I have to say that I have been converted (!) and now when forced to do without one when not working at my main pc I find it difficult to get used to opening and closing windows again. Dual monitors are particularly useful when working on a translation with lots of numbers or lists (financial statements etc) and excellent for proofreading two in that having both source and end documents open together better overall comparison can be achieved.
