Validare traduzioni mediche

Buongiorno,
Ho ricevuto una richiesta da un’azienda oftalmica per tradurre dei testi medici. Dicono che le traduzioni devono essere validate. Sapete cosa significa? Come ho capito leggendo online, le traduzioni mediche validate potrebbero fare solo le agenzie di traduzioni certificate ISO? È così? Spero sono stata chiara )))) grazie

Mi sembra che validazione possa significare varie cose, ma per quanto io ne sappia nessuno di questi significati chiama in causa la necessità di certificazione ISO. Né mi pare che avrebbe molto senso che lo facesse. Chiederei piuttosto al cliente un chiarimento sul tipo di validazione richiesta e/o sulla sua finalità.
